| We do | Remove unlit fires. |
| We do | Remove extinguished fires. |
| Don't | The council discourages the burning of household and garden waste. |
| Pollution | Bonfires cause air pollution and the poisonous compounds in smoke such as carbon monoxide can have a detrimental effect on health. |

Location Search
You can begin by entering part of an address or postcode. Matching results will appear in a table. If no results are found, you may restart the search. Certain request types allow you to use your device’s location—this feature is only available within the boundary of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Some requests also support location search by ID, such as smart litter bins or traffic signals. If the ID does not return a result, you can search by the nearest address or location and select it from the map.
