Request special plastic bags (Flex Collect)
To ensure your request takes place, please read the following information:
| From 5th June 2023 selected households have been invited to take part in a recycling trial to collect plastic bag and wrapping waste as part of their current blue bin recycling collections. All of these households have received information through the post on this trial and an initial 6-month supply of blue collection bags that must be used to collect the plastic bag and wrapping waste. This service is only available to these households to order a further supply of blue collection bags, once they have used the bags delivered at the start of the trial. Your address must be part of the trial for you to be able to progress with this request. Delivery can take up to 4 weeks so please order based on this to ensure you don’t run out of bags. Only blue plastic bag and wrapping collection bags supplied by Newcastle City Council can be used for your plastic bags and wrapping waste. |

Some requests also support location search by ID, such as smart litter bins or traffic signals. If the ID does not return a result, you can search by the nearest address or location and select it from the map.
