Report a Missed Bin

To ensure your report is completed, please read the following information:

If our records show
                               
  • A street has been serviced then the bin will be collected at the next scheduled collection.
  •                            
  • An assisted lift has been missed it will be collected within three working days.
  •                            
  • A street has been missed* then the street will be collected within three working days.
  •                            (*A missed street could be because of inaccessibility due to parked cars, road works or vehicle breakdown)                        
Second Time If you want to report a bin that you think has been missed for the second time in a row, you must phone Your Local Services on 0191 2787878 so depot managers can investigate.
Missed Bin If you want to report a missed bin collection please contact us the day after your collection was missed.
Garden Waste Missed Bin If you require further information, please phone 0191 2787878 and ask for "Garden Waste".

Location Search

You can begin by entering part of an address or postcode. Matching results will appear in a table. If no results are found, you may restart the search. Certain request types allow you to use your device’s location—this feature is only available within the boundary of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Some requests also support location search by ID, such as smart litter bins or traffic signals. If the ID does not return a result, you can search by the nearest address or location and select it from the map.
