Request a dropped Kerb
To ensure your request takes place, please read the following information:
What we do | We provide estimates to construct a dropped kerb, giving you access to your driveway where it is suitable to do so. We will carry out a site visit to determine suitability once your driveway has been constructed. We also assess and provide disabled access kerbs to provide a linked up network accessible to all. |
What we don't do | We cannot deal with your request if your driveway has not yet been installed. We do not install crossings greater in length than 7.2m (including transition kerbs). This is to maximise the remaining available on street parking. We do not install disabled access points to individual properties. |
Our response time | We will respond to your request for a dropped kerb within 10 working days by written estimate. Please make sure you provide full contact details including your address. |

Important Information
Before submitting a request, please review the information provided. It outlines what services we do and do not offer, along with key considerations. By ticking the confirmation box, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these details. Requests that do not meet the stated criteria may not be processed.
Location Search
You can begin by entering part of an address or postcode. Matching results will appear in a table. If no results are found, you may restart the search. Certain request types allow you to use your device’s location—this feature is only available within the boundary of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Some requests also support location search by ID, such as smart litter bins or traffic signals. If the ID does not return a result, you can search by the nearest address or location and select it from the map.
