To ensure your request takes place, please read the following information:
| Bin Repairs | If your bin has a damaged lid or damaged wheels we may be able to repair it free of charge. If your bin has a crack or hole in the main body please note we cannot repair this. If we are unable to repair the bin a replacement is £30 per bin. |
| On the day | Please ensure your bin is accessible to our repair team. Please put a note on the bin saying it requires repair. If you request a repair and we attend and find we cannot repair it, you will have to use the request a replacement bin form. |

Location Search
If the location of the issue is not directly linked to a property address, use the address search to find a nearby location and then click on the map to specify the exact location of the issue. This map selection will be the reference point used by the crews when assessing and resolving the issue. You can begin by entering part of an address or postcode. Matching results will appear in a table. If no results are found, you may restart the search. Certain request types allow you to use your device’s location - this feature is only available within the boundary of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Some requests also support location search by ID, such as smart litter bins or traffic signals. If the ID does not return a result, you can search by the nearest address or location and select it from the map.
