Free Small Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Collection Service

To ensure your request takes place, please read the following information:

Who can use the service? This service is currently only available for domestic residents who have their own front door access on the ground floor.
Items Only small electrical items able to fit in a standard plastic carrier bag will be collected.
Presentation Items should be inside a plastic carrier bag, left at your front door. Please use this as an opportunity to fill the carrier bag with any broken and unwanted small electricals from your household including cables and old chargers.
Preparation Please remove any batteries before placing items inside the plastic bag.  We cannot collect batteries as part of this free service. You can recycle batteries at many local supermarkets
Time Collections take place any time from 8am to 4pm. If possible, please put your items out on the day of collection before 8am or no earlier than the night before. We cannot give a specific time for collection.
We don't take TVs, mobile phones, lightbulbs or large electrical items. For large electrical items, please book a bulky waste collection instead.
Unwanted but still working small electrical items If you have unwanted electrical items that are safe and in good working order, why not get them re-used? You can check our list of charities who may be able to assist with recycling your electrical items.
Collections All collections take place on Mondays except for a Bank Holiday Monday, where the collection will be moved to a Tuesday.
