Request a second recycling bin
To ensure your request takes place, please read the following information:
| Businesses and Commercial Premises |
This form is for individual domestic residences only. Please visit our Commercial Waste pages for details about bin provision. Any business orders made will be cancelled. |
| Bins |
This form is for purchasing a second recycling bin only. If your bin is missing, badly damaged or stolen you need to order a replacement here. |
| Charges | Please have a debit or credit card to hand as bins are £30. |
| Timescale | Depending on the available bin stock delivery can take up to 40 days. You will get an approximate delivery date when you complete the form. This will also be on your email confirmation. |
| Quality | Your recycling bin will not be emptied if it doesn't contain the right items. Recycling should be clean, dry and loose in the bin, not in plastic bags. Any blue bins used for refuse will be removed. |
| Storage | Your bins should be stored on your property and only placed out for collection the night before or before 6.30am on collection day. Bins must be brought back in to your property after collection. |
| Back Lanes | Orders for replacements in back lane areas will be delivered to the FRONT of your property, not left in the back lane. |
| Labels | Remember to clearly mark replacement bins with your address and keep it safe on your property. |
| Bin entitlements and size | We only provide one size of bin - standard 240 litre wheeled bin. |
| More Information | Please visit the Recycling page. |

Important Information
Before submitting a request, please review the information provided. It outlines what services we do and do not offer, along with key considerations. By ticking the confirmation box, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these details. Requests that do not meet the stated criteria may not be processed.
Location Search
If the location of the issue is not directly linked to a property address, use the address search to find a nearby location and then click on the map to specify the exact location of the issue. This map selection will be the reference point used by the crews when assessing and resolving the issue. You can begin by entering part of an address or postcode. Matching results will appear in a table. If no results are found, you may restart the search. Certain request types allow you to use your device’s location - this feature is only available within the boundary of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Some requests also support location search by ID, such as smart litter bins or traffic signals. If the ID does not return a result, you can search by the nearest address or location and select it from the map.
